How do I book my tour ?
Send us your request or fill out the booking form. Our travel consultant will get back to you within 12 hours to confirm your booking or give you further information or instruction to meet your request and needs. We also have online chat support for all your travel enquiries.
What method of payment can I use?
We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, and PayPal.com.
Is a deposit required and what are you payment/ cancellation policies?
A 30% deposit is required to hold any reservation and secure your booking. The full balance is due and payable fifteen (15) days prior to the day of departure. Your booking will be automatically cancelled if you fail to settle the full balance to Myrides.vn by the departure date. You will be refunded 50% of your deposit if you cancel the trip twenty ( 20 ) days before your departure day. In the event of unforeseen situations the terms of refund can be adjusted (example: death in the family, flight cancellations, etc) We do accept last minute bookings and payment in cash subject to trip availability and the seasons.
What is included in the cost of the tour?
As a self driver option we provide you with a motorbike.If you decide on the pillion passenger option, we provide a motorbike and an experienced driver. Cost also includes a tour leader, safety equipment, safety tips, most meals, accommodations, water, first aid kit, and travel insurance.
Do I need a visa to travel to Vietnam?
Visitors of Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, The Philippines, Singapore and Thailand are granted 30 day tourist visa.Visitors from Japan, Korea, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, and Russia are given 15 day visasAt the present time, visitors from most Western countries require a visa on arrival. The government is considering give free tourist visas for France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, India , and Canada.

Do you provide driving test?
No, we do not offer this as a part of our service. If you do not hold a valid licence in your home country or have an International licence you will not be allowed a self driving option.
Am I insured while on a Myrides. Tour?
Myrides.vn provides travel insurance for pillion passenger and for licensed self-riders on our guided trips. Our travel insurance gives coverage up to $10,000 per driver.
Is it safe to ride a motorcycle in Vietnam?
As in any other country there are dangers associated with riding a motorcycle in Vietnam. The cities may make being on a bike frightening and daunting, but it doesn’t take much time to understand the rhythm and flow of Vietnamese traffic.For the most part, riding in the countryside is quite safe. Slow moving tractors, overtaking buses and trucks, water buffalo, dogs and children wandering on to the road at their leisure in rural areas is your greatest risk. At best you will find the average cruising speed at around 60kms when in the countryside. Rest assured that your safety is our main priority at Myrides.vn. Before every tour our specialists will give you the lowdown on how to stay safe on the road.
Can we take kids on tours ?
Children are allowed to participate in the food city excursions, but are not recommended to accompany the off the beaten path tours.
Can I customize a tour with your Myrides.vn?
Of course! We have many package options, but we are more than willing to cater to your specific needs.
If I’m not comfortable riding a motorcycle, can I hire a driver?
Yes, at Myrides.vn you have the self driven option or the pillion passenger option. We do recommend that if you have less than a years experience driving or have never used a manual transmission bike that you should choose the pillion passenger option. NOTE: A pillion passenger means a driver will be provided for you.
How long do we ride each day ?
Time on the bike tends to range from 5-6hrs with plenty of stops to see local sites, lunch and coffee breaks at roadside cafes. Expect your daily riding to be about150 to 200 km a day, depending on the terrain.
What style of accommodations are provided ?
There are three styles of accommodations depending on the tour you book. Home stays, mid-range hotels and for longer tours you will get treated to a classy hotel experience on the last night of your journey.
Do I have to share a room?
All accommodations are be based on twin/ double shared rates. People requiring single, triple rooms or family rooms can be arranged upon request ( Surcharge applied ).
Can people with special food needs or requests be accommodated?
Vegetarian and vegan needs can be met. For situations such as food allergies of Halal foods, it’s much more difficult to accommodate, but not impossible. We will do our very best.
What type of motorcycles you use?
We use Honda Master III’s for our long distance tours.

What should l bring for riding in Vietnam?
We advise that for the purpose of riding a motorbike riders should wear clothes that give you the most coverage and protection possible. Long pants, long shirts, and proper foot wear are a must. They protect you from the sun, the cold and will reduce injuries in the event of an accident. Road rash is not pleasant, take it from me!Comfortable foot wear such as sandals or flip flops are handy for sections on the tour that we are either walking or taking a boat cruise.Sun protection, sun protection, sun protection! Sun screen, hats, long sleeved shirts. Even on a cool day on the road you can still get burned by the sun and the wind.
Hows the food in Vietnam ?
I suggest that you sample some Vietnamese food before you come to Vietnam. It is not easy to describe the flavors of the food as it varies from spicy, to savoury, to sweet. As well, food varies from region to region. Fish is a big staple for the average Vietnamese person. If you book with us, either bring your adventurous taste buds or a big jar of peanut butter!!!!!
When is the best time to come to Vietnam ?

How far in advance do we have to book ?
For off the beaten track tours we recommend you book at least 3 weeks in advance. There are many logistical considerations for road trips. The sooner you notify us, the greater experience we can provide for you and your group.

In order to give you the best travel experience for off the beaten tours we limit the group size to between 5 and 8 riders.

Do you provide pick up and drop off services?
Off the Beaten Track tours for most of our offers will provide pick up and drop services. But some tours may require a central meeting and/ or drop off point. It will vary depending on the itinerary you choose.

What is a pillion passenger?
A pillion passenger refers to person riding behind a motorbike driver. Traveler joins itineraries operated by Myrides.vn as a pillion passenger, you will enjoy your rides behind our trained driving guides/tour leaders.
What is a self-rider?
A self-rider drives his own motorbike provided by Myrides.vn and guided by our tour leaders.
